Cordin is a world leader in ultrahigh speed Imaging Technology. Their Product Line includes Electronic Imaging, Film and Streak Cameras, Controls, Delays and Flash Illumination Systems.

Their cameras, using a complex optical system centered on a high speed rotating multi-faceted mirror, have frame rates from 200,000 to 25 million fps.

Applications include Materials Science, Military and Defense Research, Motion Analysis and Kinematics, Aero and Hydro- Dynamics, Propellant and Propulsion Studies to name a few.

Cordin’s Gated Intensified Cameras use micro-channel plate intensifiers to amplify and shutter the image, as fast as 5ns.

Their Streak Camera line is modular allowing users to have flexibility and achieve broad performance specifications, with picosecond temporal resolution.

The i-SPEED series of cameras from Olympus deliver on their reputation for image quality for high speed video applications in both industrial and academic markets. Every camera in the i-SPEED series can be independently operated by the sturdy CDU, without the need for a computer. The Camera Display Unit allows simple configuration of all camera parameters, live focus and video playback delivering a compact, easy to use, extremely portable system. Images can be downloaded to a compact flash card or computer via Ethernet for further analysis.

Custom designed computer software allows the user to analyze and enhance images, automatically track data points and generate velocity, acceleration and distance measurements.
