Rich Williams, President
Rich has over 29 years of professional experience in the Photonics industry. Originally a high school physics and math teacher, in 1981 he became a regional sales manager at Technical Marketing Associates Inc, marketing their scientific line of instrumentation.
He has extensive experience in optics, having worked as a sales manager for an optical fabrication firm.
In 1987, Rich was involved in starting and opening the Canadian sales and marketing operation of a large photonics catalog firm. He became general manager of this operation in 1999. During his participation with this company, Canadian sales increased by a factor of 35.
Rich has a B.Sc. in Physics from McMaster University.
He enjoys working on old cars, skiing, curling, cycling and sailing. |
Rob Grant, VP Sales and Marketing
Rob has over 16 years of professional sales experience in the scientific market and is a member of the Canadian Professional Sales Association. After graduating with a physics degree from McGill University, Rob joined the Photonics industry as a sales engineer for an international company, eventually running their Canadian operation. In 2006, Rob joined Delta Photonics, enabling him to offer a wider breadth of customer focused solutions to research and industrial clients.
Rob enjoys skiing, running, hockey, cycling and being active with his 3 children.

Steeve Lavoie, Technical Sales Representative
Steeve has over 8 years of professional experience in the Photonics industry. He graduated with a B.Sc in Chemistry from UQAC in Quebec 1998 and started as Sales Engineer in Canada for an international photonics company.
In 2003, Steeve was promoted to Nanopositioning Instrument Product Specialist along with his role as a Sales Engineer. In 2005, Steeve became a Regional Sales Manager focusing on OEM optical systems and lasers.
He enjoys competing in adventure races, mountain biking, running, kayaking, orienteering and climbing.

Greg Staples, Technical Sales Representative
Greg has over 12 years of professional sales experience in the Photonics and Microscopy industry. He graduated with a Physics degree from the University of Waterloo and shortly thereafter joined a Canadian distributor in the Photonics industry. During this time, Greg completed his MBA part-time at Wilfrid Laurier University. Most recently, Greg was a sales representative for an international microscope company. In 2010, Greg joined Delta Photonics to assist Ontario research clients.
He enjoys being a hockey dad for his two daughters, helping them on the ice and pretending to play hockey himself. He also enjoys cycling, listening to and playing music.
